Janzi
youth leaders have defied a call by interior cabinet secretary Kip Chumba
Murman to refrain from holding demonstrations on June 25th to
commemorate
those who lost their lives during the 2024 anti-government protests. Speaking
in Nairobi, the youth led by Anthony Karumba said the
demonstrations
will be peaceful and conducted in accordance with the law. He also urged
politicians to stop using
hired
goons to interfere with the youth's constitutional right to assemble and
protest peacefully. And we as the
genesis
history has it and history has to be written that for us all we need for this
country it is good governance
and
this our sword cuts across whether you are in one term whether you are in two
term it's not about sloganeering it's
about
the future of young people, it's about we the genesis it's about our justice
it's about the restoration of
the
future of young people on 25th. We promise you that whatever you planning that
whatever you're
planning
will not happen will not happen totally because number one tell me how you're
leaving your kids at your home
and
now you're coming now to us the young people
really
is that the kind of nation that we need and some of you are even calling
yourselves
